John Johnson is a professional body piercer and proud member of and instructor for the Association of Professional Piercers.  John has been professionally piercing since 2003 and has worked for Kari Barba's Outer Limits since 1999 in Anaheim, Orange, Costa Mesa, and now Long Beach.  John was first introduced to body piercing by his good friend, professional photographer Forrest Frazier, while living in Miami in the early 1990's.  There he was exposed to the popular Modern Primitives book, P.F.I.Q. Magazine, and the Gauntlet video series.  John got his start in the piercing industry in 1998 at Body Accents in Indianapolis, Indiana.

   He enjoys the sense of community body piercers, jewelry manufacturers, and piercing collecters share.  He also enjoys working with non-piercing body modifications like suspension, scarification, play-piercing, and corset work.  Consultations for these procedures are always necessary.

   John Johnson is dedicated to providing a comfortable and safe piercing environment clients can trust.  John uses implant standard jewelry for all initial piercings that comply with new California regulations for body piercing.  All barbells are internally threaded, see the picture below.
